Too similar.

I have a feeling I like ants eye view too much, maybe its time to start investigating new possible angles, and subjects.

Inspirational Artists

So I really love Black and White photography so one of my favorite photographers, that I had the chance to learn about in Digital Photo last year was Elliott Erwitt, (http://www.elliotterwitt.com/lang/index.html good site to view his work ) Mainly his photos are of children and animals, not so much landscapes.

Another one of my favorite photographers is Steve McCurry, I think he has the worlds most amazing job as a National Geographic Photographer, he also is mainly into people and not landscapes but I love his ability to capture the unique things of each person and make it seem as though their surroundings are coming from inside of them and not all around them, basically that they are part of the place the live in.

Lastly, I am also inspired by the work of Ansel Adams who unlike the others is mainly a landscape photographer and also worked mainly in black and white.

Confused Blogger =]

So this is really late in the summer to start posting on a blog, but I'm hoping to be on here a lot more and I spent the majority of this morning trying to learn how to use it. That seems to be a theme of mine this summer: learning. This is the first time I've been home in awhile because of my new job and new activities and trying to find a way to manage it all, but I almost always have my camera with me. Thats what I do, the purpose of this class for me is for my photography, I'm trying to figure out how to put up pictures, computer really isn't my thing. But as soon as I find a way to make my summer journal digital I'll be a happy camper. I hope to learn a lot of different new techniques and styles in photography, because that and writing are truly my biggest outlets and favorite activities.
